I seem to have a curse, at some point of EVERY game I have played my characters get mind controlled, this will be in four parts because I prefer to have detail, but let's get this started. Character #1: drider. One of my later controlled characters was during a campaign where my dm wanted to have a fairy tale style of a campaign, the party consisted of a pixie cleric, sayter rogue, lycanthrope bird of a class I do not remember, another pixie but a druid, and me a drider bard. At this point, the pixie druid and bird lycanthrope couldn't make it to the session, and the three of us were in a theater noticing the "actors" were being puppited, and we decided to go up some stairs to see what was going on, fast forward to combat: the person we were fighting controlled three puppits: one that was super fast (50ft speed), the one with a butcher knife, and a literal child with an iron maiden inside it, I quickly went to take out the mage Puppiteir but not even when I could get 10ft within him, he casts charm person ( I believe ) and because my character is a mental insane joker I decided to move 5ft every time it's my turn until the mage decided to say screw it and do his job, meanwhile the other two party members are getting their ass handed to them by puppits, I decided to jump a gap to get to the party faster and promptly fell onto the stage. To wrap it up, I charmed some of the audience, got out of my charmed state, killed the mage (quite easily) took his puppits and later gambled our money and finding out the casino chef is cooking human.
I'm burnt out. I work for a hotel attached to a tribal casino so the clientele range from, if I'm being honest, trashy to a little less trashy. Here lately I have even considered flat out quitting and enjoying some time off while putting in my applications for flight attendant and bank teller positions. I know that's a stupid idea though, so I am holding on to this job by the grace of God while the hunt continues. Well, today the tribe really put a spark back in me by making me employee of the month. This includes a prime parking spot directly next to employee entrance, a nice $200 bonus, and a dinner for 4 to take home prepared by one of the casinos chefs. (I have to add however that the other nominees were equally deserving. I respect housekeeping and players club employees and I know their job is equally, if not more, challenging than mine.) This is a really silly thing to be excited about, these things aren't normally my cup of tea, but for the first time since I started this job I feel appreciated and I am really looking forward to going into work this week. It's the little things you know? (Also the food.)
About to make a big leap and need a little wisdom.
I am a chef for a medium size casino. "Chef" has lost meaning to some so I can clarify that I have complete control of a casino food venue, organize and produce banquets, and supervise mine and other venues kitchen staff. I am tired of casino life. I love to cook, truly enjoy the teaching aspects of my job, but am feeling beaten down by the spoiled rotten, and just plain grumpy, guests and overworked staff. I am currently in the interview process for a Sous Chef position for a well known theme park. I need to make a move but am nervous as fuck. I am the sole provider for my family of three. I am hoping for a more positive environment to thrive in and a job with growth and some quality of life. Has anyone worked in management for a theme park? This sounds like the perfect jump but I am not sure. I want to tell my director because I respect him and want my restaurant to be successful when I leave, but don't want to get let go before I am ready to leave. Anyone out there have some advice or words of wisdom?

[Let's Build] Attractions in a demon pleasure palace that aren't sexual
My players are going to be visiting the palace of a demon lord of pleasure who's more CN than CE. I want to show that despite his title, he represents all forms of pleasure and good feelings, not just sex. Also space in his realm doesn't work the same way as it does in the mortal plane. He essentially has an infinite amount of space to work with and can customize it as he pleases, so there are no size constraints.

If Detect Magic is used, the room is full of magic (divination, transmutation, illusion) but the person seems like a normal person. You can chat with them for as long as you like. They behave just as you remember them, with the good and the bad. (u/ohsurenerd)
A theatre performing the most magnificent tragedies. When you watch the performance, you find yourself completely enraptured: you cheer when things go right, scream when something terrifying happens, and moan and weep at the inevitable horrible ending. When you leave, it feels like removing a backpack full of lead that you'd been carrying for so long you'd forgotten it was there. (u/ohsurenerd)
A room where there's a button, there's someone outside and it explains that if you enter there's a 50/50 chance of you dying or not, the room won't actually kill you and it's there just to make you feel the pleasure of near death experience. (u/SupremeGodDictator)

You tell them things you've never told anyone else before. They understand everything you tell them, almost innately, but they're still impressed by your feats and your stories.
